Mining
At Zia International Corporation, we primarily mined pink salt from the Quaidabad Salt Mine in Pakistan, one of the oldest and largest salt mines in the world. Miners extract large salt blocks using traditional methods like drilling and controlled blasting. The extracted salt is manually sorted to remove impurities and distinguish the high-quality pink salt from lower-quality material.
Processing
At Zia International Corporation, the large salt blocks are transported to processing facilities where they are crushed into smaller pieces using crushers. The crushed salt is then ground to different grain sizes, depending on the desired final product. Common grain sizes include coarse, fine, and extra fine. After grinding, the salt is screened to separate different sizes and ensure uniformity. In some cases, the salt may be washed to remove any remaining impurities.
Quality Control
At Zia International Corporation, we make sure the salt we deliver must be of best quality so, the salt is visually checked for consistency in color, texture, and the absence of impurities like dirt or foreign materials. Then Samples undergo laboratory testing to check for purity, including the presence of essential minerals and the absence of harmful contaminants like heavy metals.
